We could do a Peugeot or we could do U 605 (dec’d) but instead lets go big.
Meet the Komatsu HD 605
Despite the name it’s designed and made in the US.
Fully loaded it weighs in at 113 tonnes. To shift this it uses a 740 bhp engine and seven speed automatic box. Mightn’t sound like much power for that weight but it doesn’t have to move quickly.
Somewhat surprisingly it doesn’t have air brakes and relies mainly on hydraulic retarders which can provide a kind of downhill cruise control. Also surprisingly ABS is on the options list.

What the torque number? I’m more interested in that then the HP.

Here’s another less obvious European 605 (well, most of it). +100 jalop points if you know what it is.

An ultra high tech one perhaps?

This makes me sad that 33-19 isn’t a date. Because I have a great picture of me in front of the Terex.

You are kind of sort of right. It was the biggest truck for 20 years, but isn’t anymore. This is the only 33-19 to exist. And it was built by GM right here in Ontario.
